Mrs. Drita thought there was a mistake at the checkout
A week's groceries, paid for by someone she'd never met. And a laugh that filled the whole shop.

It was an ordinary Tuesday in a small shop in Laprakë. Mrs. Drita, 71, had come in like every week for her groceries: bread, milk, beans, a little fruit for the grandkids who visit on Sundays.
When the cashier told her 'Today you don't pay anything', she laughed and pulled out her wallet again. 'Don't mix me up with someone else,' she said. It took her a good minute to believe it.
“Then I'll pay for yours.”
Then the most beautiful thing happened: Mrs. Drita turned to the person behind her in the queue and said: 'Then I'll pay for yours.' He politely declined — but the good had already passed from hand to hand.
That's why we do it. Not for the groceries themselves, but for what happens after.
