A neighbourhood park, renewed in one Saturday

85 neighbours, 40 bags, freshly painted benches and a new playground for the local kids.

A forgotten park in a Vlorë neighbourhood became the meeting point for 85 neighbours one Saturday morning.

By lunchtime, 40 bags of rubbish had been collected, the benches had been repainted in bright colours, and a local business had brought new play equipment for the kids.

The best part? The neighbours have formed a group and now look after the park themselves every month.
